Earth Day Cleanup

Join us for a self guided Earth Day cleanup at Sailor’s Creek Battlefield Historical State Park. Visitors are invited to help care for the landscape by collecting litter along park roads, trails, and open areas. This hands on activity supports the long term stewardship of the battlefield and encourages a sense of shared responsibility for preserving this historic site.

Participants should stop by the Visitor Center at the scheduled program time to pick up gloves and a trash bag before heading out into the park. Visitors are encouraged to wear walking shoes, bring water, and dress for changing spring conditions. The outdoor route may include uneven terrain and natural surfaces.

Visitors who return with a filled trash bag will receive a 10% discount at the park gift shop. Families are encouraged to stop by the Visitor Center for special Earth Day coloring pages designed for young visitors.
