Make them this morning, use them tonight. This simple craft involves dipping pinecones on a string into melted wax. When cooled, the wax hardens and you have a pinecone-shaped way to start your campfire. While we make the starters, a ranger will tell you about the mysteries and magnificence of pinecones. All materials are provided. Young children should be accompanied by a responsible adult. Registration is not required.
