Just as caterpillars grow and change, our Caterpillar Club programs are designed to help your little one grow and change. Each week, we will have you and your child(ren) exploring our natural world through a variety of seasonally appropriate, hands-on activities that will foster children's inborn sense of wonder and curiosity. These experiences are gauged towards early childhood (3-5 years old), but of course, all family members are welcome and encouraged to participate. Every program supports Virginia's Blocks for Early Learning.

Please dress for the weather. We are meeting at the Visitor Center until spring.

February 5 - Pee Wee Superb Owls: Get an introductory look at our super 'talon-ted' owls.
February 12 - Love on the Loose: Help us find escaped 'stuffies' and make a special card for loved ones.
February 19 - Snow Stories: Learn the science behind snow and create a blizzard in the Visitor Center.
February 16 - Set A Good Example Day: Learn how to set good examples when visiting parks.
