Join us for the first-ever Volunteer Camp-Out at Douthat State Park. This is your chance to enjoy a beautiful lakeside camping experience for free while giving back to the park you love.

Volunteers will camp at our scenic Lakeside Campground and, in return, help us get the park ready for the upcoming season.

Tasks include:

Raking leaves and general grounds maintenance, cleaning fire pits, tidying bathhouses and showers,clearing gutters,…and more!

Requirements:

Volunteers must complete a Virginia State Parks Volunteer Application and pass a background check before participating. Volunteers must also register using the link below.
